Experience the Iberostar Paraiso Complex in Riviera Maya
Written by: Michelle on February 11, 2020
Throughout the Caribbean and Mexico, all-inclusive resorts craft ideal locations for travelers to kick back, relax, and enjoy a few days away from their busy lives. Travel agents know that all-inclusive vacations appeal to their clients because the destinations are beautiful, and so much is included in one package price.
Iberostar Hotels & Resorts is one popular all-inclusive resort brand known for its beach-side properties surrounded by gardens. This year, we are fortunate enough to hosting our premier travel agent event, the Crystal Conference, at the Iberostar Paraiso Complex in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Home to five resorts, these properties provide plenty of options and activities for guests of all ages.
The Five Resorts
There are five resorts that make up the Iberostar Paraiso complex: the Lindo, Beach, Del Mar, Maya, and the Grand. Each of these resorts has a distinct style that adds to the experience at that property. One of the best features of this complex is that guests staying at one resort can visit the others for drinks, dining, shows, and activities.
There is one exception: the adults-only Paraiso Grand facilities, including the dining options, spa, and pools, are reserved exclusively for guests staying at this location. There are also adult-only areas throughout the resort.
Staying Cool
These resorts are the place to be if you love the water or want a variety of options for keeping cool. At the picturesque beach along the resort property you’ll find aquamarine waters, white sand, and plenty of space for you to soak up sun. The beach side grill is the perfect spot to grab a casual lunch of made-to-order burgers or a salad.
Beyond the shore, there’s plenty of other spots to cool off. Splash the day away in the wave pool or coast along the lazy river to beat the afternoon heat. Adults can enjoy a poolside cocktail with kids have fun on water slides and water play areas.
Shopping and Dining
Within the Iberostar Paraiso Complex is the Plaza Paraiso Shopping Center. Always a highlight of the resort, this center is home to a host of included dining options and shops, where you can purchase goods and souvenirs. Looking for jewelry, beachwear, or even a pharmacy? They’ve got it! Craving a latte, a crepe, or a scoop of your favorite ice cream flavor? You can find it here! This center is also home to a spa, disco, and cantina, so guests are sure to have the experiences they’ve been hoping for without ever having to leave the resort.
Along with the shops on resort, there is also daily transportation to the shopping center in nearby Playa Del Carmen. For a small shuttle fee, guests can spend the day exploring these local shops with confidence knowing exactly when and where their bus will be waiting to take them back to the resort.
Activities
For guests that are searching for a fun-filled vacation with plenty to do, the Paraiso complex is ideal. With a full lineup of activities each day, checking the posted schedule is a great way to stay up-to-date on everything going. The kids’ club programs stretch into the evening, with nightly activities to keep them entertained and even involved in shows.
Adults can also enjoy the nightly entertainment with live themed shows, such as Broadway night, Mexico Night, and Karaoke night. Fiesta day is a highlight each week, featuring a dinner of gourmet Mexican specialties and a party atmosphere. Beyond the resort, guests can experience excursions to snorkel, explore Mayan ruins, and many other once in a lifetime experiences of vacationing in Mexico.
