What is Jungala?
Jungala Aqua Experience is a luxury boutique water park. This new water park attraction opened in late June of 2019 and is now welcoming visitors to experience all that it has to offer. Located next to the Vidanta Riviera Maya Resort, Jungala Water Park is a separate attraction. Tickets are available to Vidanta Resort guests and to the public, though only a set number tickets will be available each day to keep lines short and maximize fun.
Inside, guests will find water slides to suit all ages, from those looking for an adrenaline rush on the thrill slides to fun family slides and the tot-sized kid slides. Guests zoom down the Paradise Free Fall, the Beachside Boomerango, or the Tropical Whizzard, just to name a few. Jungala also features a wave pool and a kids Rain Fortress for plenty of water fun. The park’s lazy river stretches over 3,000 feet in length, making it the longest in Latin America.
The lush tropical surroundings and high-end amenities will also appeal to the grown-up crowd. The water park features a beach area, hammock area, adults-only jacuzzi space, and a pool bar. For an additional fee, guests can also reserve a private cabana where they can book in-cabana Spa treatments.
The park also features several dining options to please every age. Snack shops feature hot dogs, popcorn, frozen smoothies, and more. The On the Waves Snack Hall is a casual poolside restaurant which features fresh bites like salads, tacos, and ceviche. Guests looking for adult beverages can choose between the park’s swim-up bar option, Cocoyol Pool Bar, or the Sand-Gria and Mojito Bendito Bar.
What does it include?
Admittance to Jungala Aqua Experience includes access to the park’s activities, towels, lockers, showers, free WiFi, and concierge service. Park-goers aged 3-12 are eligible for children’s tickets, and those children under the age of 3 are free.
There is an additional charge for cabanas, spa treatments, and dining options.
Who should visit Jungala?
While Jungala is a part of the Vidanta Riviera Maya, it is open to the public. For many families vacationing in the Riviera Maya area, they can spend a day at this fun and active water park and add to the family fun. also offers wheelchair access to the park and many of the park areas for guests with mobility concerns.
