The KHM Cares Committee organizes and delivers meaningful opportunities for KHM Travel Group’s team members, travel agents, and partners to participate in charitable initiatives that support those in need in our network, local communities, and the travel and tourism community in general.
Our biggest events include our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive and Holiday Adopt-A-Family Angel Giving Tree programs. These programs directly support individuals and families in need during the holidays.
We’ve also supported local schools, animal shelters, and other community organizations through event sponsorships or fundraising drives. We encourage surrounding businesses to adopt a spirit of generosity because after all, giving is contagious!
In 2023, we launched a team member directed giving program! Each full-time team member is welcome to identify and contribute KHM Cares resources to a charitable organization of their choice.
Giving back to our community, agents, and the travel industry is at the heart of KHM Travel Group’s People-First mindset. Through KHM Cares, team members come together to live our Core Values and share our resources to help improve the lives of others.
We are proud to be a part of the Northeast Ohio community, with our Corporate Office located in the largest city in Medina County. We are geographically close to the Metropolitan areas of Cleveland and Akron.
Our corporate team members can choose to serve on our volunteer KHM Cares Committee, which organizes and promotes annual collection drives and volunteer activities to give back. Our internal committee meets quarterly to review donation requests, brainstorm new opportunities, and work on long-term projects to expand the reach of KHM Cares to our travel agent and partner communities.
We invite our travel agent community to participate in our charitable initiatives throughout the year whenever possible. For each event we host in Northeast Ohio, we encourage agents to participate in a collection drive for a local nonprofit organization, Shoes and Clothes for Kids. Agents bring donations of school supplies, socks, undergarments, and winter accessories to help meet the basic needs of local families.
We also promote givebacks during our in-destination events whenever possible. This includes FAM trips and the annual Crystal Conference. These givebacks help support programs and organizations that are meaningful to our entire community, including our industry partners.

Another way we impact our agents is when we learn that they have recently suffered the loss of an immediate family member. We send a gift basket on behalf of the KHM Travel Group community to send our condolences and offer our prayers and support.
We also offer support for travel agents who are temporarily unable to operate their businesses due to catastrophic situations like hurricanes, tornadoes, and wildfires.
