KHM Travel Group’s annual supplier and education event lived up to its name, uniting travel advisors from across the country for a refreshed Destination Success.
This year, attendees could chart their own course by choosing the sessions they wanted to attend. The event took place at the historic Hotel Cleveland in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. We were thrilled to be with 98 suppliers, 246 in-person agents, and another 171 virtual attendees watching from home.
General sessions included a welcome address from President and CEO Rick Zimmerman, along with presentations from ALG Vacations, Carnival Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Sandals Resorts, Travel Leaders Network, Viking, and Virgin Voyages. Additional suppliers offered breakout sessions and special Lunch & Learn opportunities throughout the week.
While suppliers and the trade show were a major part of Destination Success, attendees also enjoyed hearing from fellow travel agents and team members. Topics of these presentations included maximizing the benefits of myTravelCRM, hiring an assistant, hosting travel events, booking group travel, networking, creating social media videos, enhancing your online presence, writing so clients will read, and more.
“This year, we wanted to create something that put education in the hands of the agent. Each attendee decided what was most important to them to grow their business. For some, it included hearing the latest and greatest from some of their favorite travel partners, and for others it was learning about a new strategy or resource,” said Education Manager Carolyn Orf.
