Agent Advisory Committee – Our DE&I Committee is comprised of a diverse group of agents who meet quarterly. They provide feedback and personal insight into how we can best advocate for DE&I in the travel industry.  

DE&I Resource Guide – KHM Travel Group has created a DE&I Resource Guide for agents to access inside our MyTravelAgentPortal website. This includes information on professional organizations, certifications, supplier marketing resources, internal marketing resources, and suggestions to meet clients’ unique needs.  

DE&I In Action Awards – Our annual DE&I Awards honor the outstanding individuals and suppliers who are working to bolster equality across all areas of the industry. We also recognize both travel agents and corporate team members who embody the values of DE&I. 

BIPOC Agent Resource Group – This group is intended to create space for agents with shared identities and experiences to exchange ideas, celebrate growth, communicate challenges, and build connections within our larger agent community. 

Engaging Video Content for All Who Love Travel 

With over 1 million views, KHM Travel Group’s YouTube channel has video content to inspire, inform, and bring fun to those who engage with us! We feature our team members, travel agents, and industry partners to show the real side of our organization. Some standout playlists on our channel include: 

KHM Today: KHM Today is a weekly travel talk show for travel agents, by travel agents. It’s designed to enhance viewers engagement with industry partners, our community of travel advisors, and the KHM Travel Group team. Host Carolyn Orf is live each Wednesday at 3pm EST.

Travel Agent Tips: Our how-to series hosted by travel advisor and executive Bill Coyle takes you through the steps of running your own travel business. Learn from Bill and other experts and benefit from more than 30 years of firsthand knowledge and experience. 

Travel Stories Unpacked: The newest addition to our YouTube library is a podcast with a different take on travel. Host Ashley Newton and her guests talk about all things travel from the silly, to the serious, and everywhere in between. If you love travel, and you like listening to fun stories and opinions, tune in for new episodes on Fridays.

In addition to these popular playlists, our channel regularly highlights the success stories of our independent travel agents. We love hearing about the real agent experience from those who live it every day. They share their triumphs, words of advice, and reasons why they love what they do. 

Travel Through the Agent Journey with Education & Events 

The foundation of a good host agency is a comprehensive and convenient education program. Every agent learns differently, so we offer a variety of ways to learn. At our exclusive events, attendees walk away with actionable next steps and new travel friends across the country! 
 
Boot Camp 1.0 is the perfect introduction to selling travel. We cover the basics someone needs to know to book with confidence. Once our agents advance to higher sales levels, Boot Camp 2.0 helps continue that growth.

Our Destination Success summer event brings together our supplier partners for informative sessions, panels, and a trade show. There’s plenty of time for networking too!  

For our annual Crystal Conference, we travel together to beautiful destinations to catch up, learn, connect, and celebrate. We recognize our top agents of the year with our Crystal Awards Ceremony. This year we honored agents in our network with 50+ different awards! 

New in 2023, The Luxury Symposium is for agents who are ready to understand the luxury travel market. With the help of our supplier partners, agents get to know luxury products, including which client is best for each.    

On The Concourse takes our in-person events on the road with our Engagement Team to help agents analyze their sales and discover the right resources they should be using.  

In addition to our innovative in-person events, our on-demand Learning Management System guides agents through various aspects of launching and running a travel business. Additional online courses dive into more advanced topics like marketing and group travel. And this is just the beginning of our education opportunities!
