Geoff Cox Named KHM Travel Group’s Vice President of Sales

It is with great pleasure that KHM Travel Group announces the promotion of Geoff Cox to Vice President of Sales.

When Geoff joined KHM Travel Group in 2011, he was no stranger to the travel industry. From 1993-2002, he worked as Business Development Manager and Key Account Manager at Royal Caribbean International. After his time with Royal Caribbean, Geoff served as a Business Development Manager with Carnival Cruise Line for eight years.

In his previous role as Supplier Relations Director, Geoff played a significant part in increasing our production with several key Preferred Suppliers including Mark Travel, Delta Vacations, and Carnival.

Not only has Geoff worked closely with our travel partners, but he has also dedicated much of his time to focusing on the needs of our agents. As the driving force behind the Pinnacle and Basecamp programs for top-producers, Geoff always keeps agents’ goals in mind when developing new ideas.

The work he’s accomplished in just six years has enabled our host agency to surpass countless sales goals and receive numerous awards. This translate to better educational opportunities, exclusive incentives, and several other perks that are made available to our 4,000+ agents.

Geoff also serves the administrator of the KHM Travel Group Advisory Board, a small group of agents who provide valuable feedback and insight about the company’s programs and business practices.

When asked what he loves most about working in the travel industry he said “The best part of my job hasn’t changed in 20 years…it’s helping travel agents be successful by offering them training, support, and marketing advice.”

Geoff’s exceptional leadership skills and commitment to growing KHM Travel Group’s sales volume make him a welcome complement to the company’s Executive Team, which also includes President and Rick Zimmerman and Vice President of Agent Operations Lisa Morris.

“In his new role, Geoff has already proven to be a vital catalyst who has helped expand KHM Travel Group’s growth and reach, through new industry and supplier partnerships and the development and expansion of several key agent programs,” said Rick Zimmerman. “Adding Geoff to the company’s Executive Team ensures we will remain focused on providing results-oriented leadership, stellar service and meaningful support to our network of home-based travel agents.”

In addition to his involvement in the travel industry, Geoff also enjoys spending time outdoors. Among his favorite activities are trout fishing in northern Ohio and Pennsylvania and hiking and biking with his wife throughout the parks in Ohio.

We thank Geoff for serving as a leader, motivator, and friend and congratulate him on this exciting new position!
