A Summer of Giving Back at KHM Travel Group

Through the efforts of KHM Cares, KHM Travel Group organized two summer activities to collect donations for Northeast Ohio families.
The first drive was in support of Feeding Medina County. Assigning each Executive Team member with one of the most-needed items, team members brought in donations for this fun competition. Our winner was President and CEO Rick Zimmerman, whose item was applesauce.
After he was crowned champion, Rick and 6 other team members volunteered their time on July 18th. The group packed 480 bags of food for Medina County students!
The company’s donations to Feeding Medina County included:
- 352 pounds of food, at an estimated value of $598.40
- Monetary donation of $350
Our second collection drive of the summer was in support of Shoes and Clothes for Kids. For this initiative, our travel agents from across the country brought school supplies to KHM Travel Group’s Destination Success event. Donations included more than 1,000 school supplies such as pencils, folders, notebooks, glue, and washable markers.
Maddi from our Billing Team brought donations to Fox 8 Cleveland’s Stuff the Bus event on July 28th.
