KHM Travel Group Hall of Fame

Alison has helped KHM Travel Group reach new heights, breaking glass ceilings and showing what is possible in the travel industry. ‌‌After seeing her success, dozens of suppliers realized the potential of the independent agent and decided to invest their time and raise our commission rates – a benefit that all agents now enjoy! Alison has led the way in showing that a person could start a home-based travel agency with no prior experience and make it a profitable, thriving business. 

Bill is a beacon of energy, always bringing innovative ideas for growth to our company and agents. During the pandemic, Bill worked tirelessly to advocate for travel advisors on an individual level and implemented solutions for agents and their clients. He spent his days on Facebook Lives and answered messages and emails at all hours to keep everyone updated on the ever-changing policies. During 2020, Bill was also crucial in the development of two innovative programs–Virtual EDU and the Agent-to-Agent series, which is now known as KHM Today. 

When you think of someone who is always willing to share expertise to help her fellow agents, Emily is the first to come to mind. Her passion for travel began while on a high school trip and continued through her first tour through Italy in 2006. As an active agent, Emily is a familiar face at KHM Travel Group and industry events. Those who have had the opportunity to spend time with Emily around the world also know what a fantastic travel buddy she is! As a travel consultant and owner of Emily’s Travel, LLC, she loves helping clients plan their dream vacations, honeymoons, and destination weddings. 

Madison truly embodied the idea of going above and beyond when he took the time to assist in coordinating the KHM Together Again event. He made agents feel welcome and helped shape this unique event. His role is ever evolving, and he is always up for a challenge in making work life better for the team at KHM Travel Group. From holiday decor for the office to coordinating lunches for the team, Madison keeps everything running smoothly. 

Colleen came to KHM Travel right when COVID-19 was taking control of the country. She worked daily with our team members to help everyone remain employed though government assistance and state-funded programs. And through it all, Colleen ensured everyone felt comfortable with all the changes that were happening. Always seeking out the positive in situations, Colleen truly cares about the KHM Travel Group team and does her job with kindness and a People First attitude. 

Cheryl was first inspired to join the industry because of a lifetime love of travel instilled in her by her parents, taking their seven children cross-country every summer. Since joining KHM Travel Group in 2007, her business has reached amazing heights. In addition to winning multiple KHM Travel Group Awards, she has also risen to the prestigious Diamond level of our Pinnacle Program and was one of the first members to serve on the Advisory Board. When she first started her career in travel, she never thought it was going to be such demanding work, but she feels the rewards far surpass the hours spent making travel dreams come true. 

Lisa was overwhelmingly nominated by the KHM Travel Group team for the Limelight Award. When describing her, the words that come to mind are exemplary, positive, innovative, team player, and amazing manager. She has done an incredible job leading the membership team and helping grow our agent network. Not only is she an asset to memberships, but also to our marketing efforts. She has a knack for reporting and analytics and does a great job projecting future sales and keeping her teams motivated. We are incredibly lucky to have Lisa in our KHM Travel Group family.  

Hollie grew up on a dairy farm and spent a summer during high school in Iceland as an exchange student. After graduating, she worked as a nanny and traveled all over the U.S. After starting her own family and talking with another travel agent about the possibility to balance a career in travel and her busy family life, she joined KHM Travel Group in 2011. Hollie’s willingness to drive a bus full of her clients to the airport to ensure they made their flight earned her ASTA’s Extra Mile Award. She entered our Pinnacle program in 2015 and has since worked her way up to the Diamond Pinnacle level.

In her 11 years with the company, Hannah has done an excellent job in the organization to streamline processes for our Commissions/Accounting Department. She spends time with all of her team members to ensure that they understand their responsibilities. Her door is always open to have conversations with her team and to help our agents. Beyond her impressive skills and contributions to the department, she is also a kind and compassionate team member. She always makes an effort to touch base with others and treats her job with the best interest of the company and our agents in mind.
