KHM Travel Agents Live the Palace Life During Cancun FAM

Being an independent travel agent is hard work. Our agents put a lot of time and energy into planning clients’ trips and managing their businesses. Even on FAM trips, the days inspecting multiple resorts, engaging in product trainings and networking with suppliers can seem long.
But ultimately, it’s more than worth it. Just ask the group of agents who recently came back from our Palace Resorts FAM trip in Cancun. Between May 17th and 21st, Moon Palace Resort hosted 20 KHM Travel Agents as well as Beth Klubnik, our Agency Trainer.
In addition to the host resort, our group toured six Palace Resorts and Hotels around Cancun: Isle Mujeres, Le Blanc Spa Resort, Beach Palace, Sun Palace, Playacar Palace and Cozumel Palace.
The Palace Resorts brand is known for their signature “awe-inclusive” amenities, luxurious decor and stunning views. During site inspections, our agents got a behind-the-scenes look at what “the Palace Life” offers vacationers.
“Palace Resorts have a hotel and location for a wide range of clients needs and wants and budgets,” says Beth.
Our agents are still gushing about the meals from the trip. They savored authentic Caribbean flavors during our Welcome Dinner at Caribeño, one of Moon Palace’s fifteen gourmet restaurants. At Arrecifes, they watched in wonder as the staff prepared authentic Mexican coffee, which involves lighting each drink aflame before serving! With Palace’s all-inclusive program, guests truly feel like they’re living the VIP life!
Between site tours and in the evenings, our agents got a first-hand look at Palace’s nightlife and array of activities. They took a sunny bike tour of Moon Palace, soaked up some rays by the pool, and indulged in holistic spa treatments.
It may not seem like work, but discovering what entertainment options are available to guests is a vital part of curating a client’s vacation experience.
“What I found most helpful about the FAM, is that despite being a Palace PRO Specialist, I never would have truly appreciated the unique appeal and personality of each resort had I not been there,” says attendee Stacy.
As with all of our FAM trips, the agents returned home with tons of information about resorts and area they visited. The friendships they developed will stay with them long after they return home and continue building their travel businesses!
