Think about what it must have been like to travel 100 years ago. It was the dawn of flappers and silent films. A postcard or a letter was still the fastest way to send word to distant relatives. It was the age of passenger steam ships and the novel experience of flight.

Through travel we connect and empathize with others and our collective past. We come home with new understanding of our shared humanity.
