April is Autism Acceptance Month

Autism Awareness Month has been celebrated each April since 1970. Recently, the shift to Autism Acceptance Month better clarifies the care and inclusion that comes along with embracing the autism community.
As a travel agent, part of your job is to not only accept your clients, but also understand their needs when helping coordinate their vacations. Fortunately, travel suppliers like Royal Caribbean and Disney Cruise Line have a variety of autism-friendly programs. These initiatives include activities, products, and services to help individuals with autism feel comfortable and able to fully enjoy their trips.
