KHM Travel Agents Explore What Karisma Resorts Have to Offer

In August, a group of KHM Travel Agents set off to the Riviera Maya region of Mexico. Though this destination is known for its stunning beaches, warm weather, and luxurious resorts, our agents weren’t just there to relax. They were there to explore the incredible Karisma Resorts and witness firsthand what their clients can expect at these all-inclusive properties.
The 24 agents who attended this FAM trip stayed in the El Dorado Seaside Suites resort, but were fortunate to be able to visit several other Karisma Resorts locations. From Karisma’s adults-only El Dorado line, agents toured El Dorado Royale, El Dorado Casitas Royale, and El Dorado Maroma. They also experienced the family-friendly properties including Azul Beach Resort Riviera Maya, The Fives Azul Beach Resort, Azul Beach Resort Riviera Cancun, and Generations Riviera Maya.
Seeing the range of Karisma’s resorts provided agents with knowledge to help qualify their clients and match them with the right property for their vacation. These in-person interactions can also help agents to explain the subtle differences between similar resorts, like El Dorado Royale and El Dorado Maroma.
The agents were also treated to activities their clients can enjoy on resort, like coconut painting, a Bloody Mary mixology class, and snorkeling in the clear blue waters of that surround the Riviera Maya area. Opportunities like this help agents make recommendations to their clients for excursions and experiences that will make their visit to Mexico a memorable and thrilling experience.
They enjoyed Karisma’s Gourmet Inclusive Experience, which provides guests with 24-hour room service, dietary accommodations, fresh vegetables and spices grown on-site, premium drinks, and many exciting activities included in their stay. This elevated take on the all-inclusive resort is a signature at all of Karisma’s properties.
Our agents were also excited to learn more about Karisma Resorts’ destination wedding packages, and the Gourmet Inclusive Vacation Consultants (GIVC) program, which KHM Travel Group is a member of. This certification connects agents with clients who are interested in destination weddings and honeymoons, and enables agents to offer additional perks and benefits to their Karisma stay. Kimberly Love, KHM Travel’s Southeast Regional Coordinator, said that the quality and amenities of the Karisma properties impressed the agents and that this FAM trip was, “a wonderful tool for agents to learn, touch and experience a product that they can return and be comfortable with selling. She also said that this was an important learning experience for agents to immerse themselves in the Mexican culture and to give them confidence when answering questions about traveling to Mexico.
